I always read those ‘make money from home’ links with scepticism, surely if it was that good, everyone would be doing it…wouldn’t they??
However I happened to read about a blog, and how people were earning from adverts and I came across Emma Drew from Aldi to Harrods who has set up her own business earning money through a number of streams, so after reading her blog I started to add up some of the income streams I have already set up. I was dipping into each activity now and again if I needed to pay for something or if we were saving for a holiday. However after reading Emma’s blog I decided to take my side business seriously.
In July I made money from;
Cashback sites (Quidco/top Cashback)
In August I am taking a little holiday and will have 2 assignments to write for my MA so will be delighted if I can make the same amount I have made in July. However, that does not mean I will not stop researching and finding more exciting ways to supplement my income and save for that holiday home by the sea.
August 2016 has been a great month for making money on the side, I started off with a great order for perfume which meant I got a great commission toward my holiday to Malta

Topcashback and Quidco are the two sites we use, we buy everything through these 2 sites, so we recently booked a hotel in London and earned a small percentage. We save this up and then transfer it to cash when we are going on holiday or for a weekend trip. You can recommend friends and family members, the pay you £7.50 per person, they sometimes have special offers and the fees go up to £15 per person, so if you are money savvy you may like to wait for those.
June 2017 our TopCashback total £385.32
June 2017 our Quidco total £210.30
A grand total of £595.62
